ATTENTION VETERANS

Due to planned construction to fix plumbing issues in Primary Care Building 48, Primary Care appointments and services for Team Independence, Team Triumph, and Team Lonestar will be temporarily relocated to Building 29 Community Living Center. Patients will be seen in this area starting April 23 through May 1. Clinics will resume as normal on May 4.

There will be staff in Building 29 to assist Veterans to their Primary Care appointments in that area. The parking lot shuttle service for Veterans will accommodate this relocation during this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time.

National Prescription Drug is happening this month! On Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., bring those old and unneeded medications to the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center main lobby to safety dispose of them! Lubbock VA Clinic will be Friday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the main lobby.

The Lubbock VA Clinic is hosting its 4th Annual Welcome Home Veterans event on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Exhibit Hall, located at 1501 Mac Davis Ln, Lubbock, Texas 79401.

The Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center Whole Health Department is hosting its first drive thru mobile food pantry FREE for area Veterans on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., located at 6010 W Amarillo Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79106. This effort is in partnership with the High Plains Food Bank to assist nourish our hometown heroes. This is on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Veterans must show VA ID card to receive a box.
