Goodcare Health Services-Amarillo, TX Private duty home health agency Goodcare Health Services is a licensed home health agency with highly trained staff that are screened and bonded.

We are locally owned and thousands of clients have trusted us to serve them with care, reliabilty and superior services since 1984. If you prefer to stay at home but need some help in order to stay there, consider Goodcare Health Services. Our services include an initial assessment by a registered nurse or a social worker and we provide an on-call registered nurse 24 hours a day. Our services can be provided from 4 to 24 hours a day on a short term, long term, live in, or respite basis. Our services are not "pre-packaged." We will consult with you and/or your family to determine the appropriate level of care. We are able to help you maintain an independent lifestyle by providing assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, medication reminders, and appointments. Our staff includes: Registered Nurses, Licensed Masters Social Worker, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Certified Nurses Aides. We can provide hospital sitting services for those families that want someone with their loved one while they are in the hospital. We also provide travel companion services for when you want to travel but you cannot travel alone. Payor sources we accept are private pay, long term care insurance, and worker's compensation. Hello from your Goodcare team! We just want to take a minute and reassure everyone that Goodcare is continuing to operate with the excellent care that everyone has come to expect from us. We are going through a storm right now, but with our continued team effort and God's grace, we are surviving. We want to make it very clear that Goodcare is going to continue to work and strive to continue to be the best in providing care to our clients. This community and your support remind us why Goodcare had been in business for 41 years, and we look forward to many more years to come. Goodcare Update:

Just three short years ago, Carrie, our social worker, was called home to Jesus. Now Ken, our owner/administrator has also been called home. While this is a difficult time for Goodcare, we want to take the time to address the concerns this may have caused. First of all, Goodcare will continue to operate and serve our community. The current co-owner of Goodcare, Sondra Cargle, will be stepping into the role of owner. Sherri Prater will be stepping into the role of administrator. Goodcare will continue to provide the excellent care that you have all grown to expect without change. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns that you may have in regard to Goodcare. We would be more than happy to visit with you.
