What is Insulin resistance?
Insulin resistance is a pathological response in which cells in insulin-sensitive tissues in the body fail to respond normally to the hormone insulin or downregulate insulin receptors in response to hyperinsulinemia.
As you become more insensitive to your insulin and levels begin to rise, many metabolic changes occur that increase your blood pressure such as:
- Increased sodium retention
- Increased sympathetic, nervous system activity which causes constriction in the arteries and a subsequent rise in blood pressure
- Stimulated growth of the smooth muscles of the arteries, causing the arteries to thicken and result in increased blood pressure
Modern medicine is woefully ignoring this fact and relies on medications, which not only fails to help improve insulin resistance, but in many cases makes it worse.
The risk of developing hypertension in a lifetime is over 90%.
This is where you desperately need to change your lifestyle by eating clean, moderate exercise, and nutritional supplementation. This could reduce your blood pressure enough to void having to take any medication.
The Body Balancing Drops will help your insulin levels in the most natural way.
