2025: Moments to Remember
2025 was a year full of growth, learning, laughter, and meaningful moments at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers.
Our year kicked off with continuing education — and a little adventure — in Dallas. Therapists Jerra, Cassie, and Shelly traveled for a pelvic floor pregnancy certification course packed with hands-on training we were excited to bring back to our patients. Thanks to Jerra, our fearless leader, accidentally booking the hotel for the wrong nights, the team gained an unexpected bonus day… followed by a 3 a.m. wake-up call to race home in time to treat patients. Caffeine was absolutely involved. If that’s not commitment, we don’t know what is!
We were proud to support the Amarillo College PTA Program by welcoming students for clinical rotations in January, March, and July. We also hosted a Texas Tech DPT student in July. Investing in the next generation of physical therapy clinicians through hands-on learning continues to be something we truly value.
March brought exciting upgrades when Jerra and James traveled to Denver for FYZICAL Brand Triumph. They returned with new tools to elevate patient care, including Hyperice compression boots, heat and massage wraps, and most impressively, our Shockwave Therapy device — a true game changer for many of our patients.
We also celebrated our one-year anniversary on March 15th at James and Jerra’s home while watching a beautiful snowstorm — a moment we’ll never forget.
In April, our clinical team continued to grow as Aaron Bernal, PT, DPT joined FYZICAL. Aaron brought specialized training in dry needling, manual therapy, vertigo treatment, and bilingual care in Spanish, allowing us to better serve our community. In June, he traveled to Georgia for advanced shockwave therapy training, expanding our treatment options even further.
With four therapists and rotating students, we added new treatment tables and equipment — which meant rearranging the gym a time or two… okay, maybe a lot!
Community outreach became a major focus this year. We partnered with Heal the City to provide chronic pain and balance classes, and we took “Fight the Fall” to a new level in September by offering free balance screenings throughout the month. Our motto became:”Can you stand like a flamingo?” 🦩
We even visited local physician offices to bring screenings directly into the community, helping prevent falls before they happen.
With growth came some bittersweet changes. When Mindy, our first Client Care Specialist, moved on to new opportunities, Andrea — who joined our team in August as a PT Technician — stepped into an expanded role as Client Care Specialist. Later, we welcomed Dolores in October as another Client Care Specialist. Together, they keep the therapists in line and the clinic running smoothly.
Of course, we made time for fun along the way. From team outings and the Nutcracker Ball to a memorable laundry-folding war (two therapists are excellent folders… the other two, not so much), we wrapped up the year with our annual Christmas party.
After an incredible 2025 filled with growth, teamwork, and plenty of laughter, we’re excited for what’s ahead. As 2026 begins, we look forward to continuing our mission of helping you LOVE YOUR LIFE.
