Ali Ramos Therapy

Ali Ramos Therapy Disabled, q***r LCSW Anxiety? Identity crisis? Pandemic fatigue? Religious trauma? Or just trauma in general? Let's talk.

A therapeutic relationship is one of the most important elements of the healing process. By creating an open, authentic atmosphere, we can both explore the intricacies of the mind. This is a team effort and I'd like to help you place some new tools in your toolbox. Let's find different, successful ways to assist you with coping in this wild ride we call life. You've taken a huge step to heal by seeking support. Each session is led by you as you know your story the best. I'm not here to give you advice but here to assist you in processing trauma, embracing your identity, & creating a judgment-free environment. My specializations focus on reclaiming your identity in the disabled and/or LGBTQ+ community in a secular way. I do have lived experience as a disabled, q***r woman who also has anxiety and depression. I feel like these connections have empowered me to be the biggest advocate for your own mental health journey.

Sessions will be held every Tuesday at 6 PM, starting on September 10th, at Ali Ramos Therapy, located at 1200 Ross St, Suite #300. Join us to connect with others and empower yourself with the knowledge and tools needed to support your child's growth and development

Texas humans seeking a therapist: I have about a week left until my office is open! Starting on 10/01 I’ll be paneled with Cigna, Optum, Aetna, and United Healthcare. I’m still waiting for my info to be put into the systems for Medicare, Medicaid, and BCBS but they’re two months in the process of it. Cash pay is $120 and I can provide a superbill for insurance reimbursement, if needed.

I am doing free 15 minute phone consultations now along with virtual and in-person sessions. My booking page will be opened up on October 1st and I will link it to aliramostherapy.com.

Please spread the word! I’m looking forward to getting more involved with the Amarillo community. 🏳️‍🌈🖤♿️

My therapy website is live! While I am still working on getting content added, it's ready for viewing. My background information, resume, and specializations are all listed. I'm pretty proud of it!

If you see any part of the website that is not disability friendly, then please let me know and I will get it changed.

Guess who’s back, back again? It’s me. I’m back.

I’ve just started the process to start accepting cash pay and insurance based Texas clients for therapy! It will take a few weeks/months to get credentialed with the following companies:

Aetna
BlueCross BlueShield
Cigna
Humana
Medicaid
Medicare
United Healthcare

Cash pay will be $120 per session. Acceptance for insurance will vary depending on how long the forms take to go through. I’ll have an easy to access link for scheduling that I will post once it’s available.

I’m also looking into getting an in person office once my caseload grows but right now, it will be virtual. Specialities include DBT (trained), chronic illness/disabilities, q***r folx, religious trauma, and neurodivergent issues.

I’m so excited. It’s been a long 9 years to become an LCSW but I’m finally there. 🖤
