EASY PEASY steps can be expected when you use our new check-in system!

1. A preregistration link will be sent to scheduled patients up to 2 days before your pre-scheduled appointment. ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE COMPLETED. Any documents skipped or not fully completed may result in rescheduling of your appointment.

2. A Check-in link will be sent 30 minutes before your appointment.

3. You may meet GiGi our Digital Health Assistant who will make sure we understand why you are being seen for your appointment.

4. If you have a balance, you will take care of that payment with the front office team.

5. As always, our late appointment arrival policy applies. Please be on time to your scheduled appointment.

GiGi is our Digital Health Assistant who will gather information about your visit when you check-in using the check-in link sent to your contact phone number and/or email. Simply answer the prompted questions. Your information will be relayed to the Amarillo Pediatric Clinic team and we will have a clear understanding of the purpose of your scheduled appointment.

Patients scheduled August 4, 2025 will get a preregistration link sent to the cell phone number on record to fill out 2 days before their scheduled appointment. On the day of the appointment, there will be a check-in link sent 30 minutes prior to the appointment. Late appointment arrivals may be rescheduled. After checking in using the link, you simply present to the front office receptionist to let them know you are on time and ready for your appointment. Our nursing staff will then call you back shortly for your scheduled appointment!

Artificial Intelligence, or "AI" check-in systems work directly with the healthcare team at Amarillo Pediatric Clinic to help the day run smoothly and more efficiently. The new check-in system will go into effect August 4, 2025. The biggest change is that most of the collection of information will be done from a secure link that will be sent directly to your mobile device as opposed to all the paperwork you are used to in the waiting room!
