This year marks a very special milestone for me and for Amarillo Children’s Clinic. I am celebrating 20 years of caring for the children and families of our community.
When I moved back to Amarillo in 2005 after completing my residency at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, I could only dream of the relationships and memories that would be built over the years. It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to watch so many of your children grow, from newborn visits to school physicals, from first steps to graduations, and to walk alongside your families through both joyful and challenging times.
I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me and in our clinic. Your confidence, kindness, and loyalty have made these past two decades truly meaningful. Every day, I am reminded that pediatric care is not just about medicine; it is about partnership, community, and the shared commitment to raising healthy, thriving children.
As I reflect on the past 20 years, one of the greatest blessings has been the opportunity to now care for a new generation, the children of my former patients. To see those I once cared for as little ones return with children of their own is both humbling and deeply rewarding. Thank you for allowing me the honor of being part of your lives and your families’ journeys.
