I have decided to begin a little segment called, “Life Lessons with Leeanne”. In this segment, I will offer a captivating rollercoaster of emotions in the real life experiences I live alongside you. May I offer you the very first, in all of its real life humor…
~Life Lessons with Leeanne 101 ~
In the event that you ever become curious - or your untamed ADHD brain is granted a rare and reckless free-range moment - and you suddenly think, at FULL VOLUME, “SELF!!! It is a FANTASTIC idea to add your Liquid I.V. to your La Croix!!!”
Stop.
No - don’t stop after you open the packet. Stop now.
Do not let the curiosity win. Do not let the feral ADHD take the wheel. Do not ignore the tiny, barely audible voice whispering right before you pour that says, “Self… this is not a fantastic idea.” And for the love of your dignity, your upholstery, and the innocent bystanders in the school pickup line - do not do this in your car. Because you will experience a Mentos-meets-Coke event of biblical proportions and immediately regret every life choice that led you to this moment. Your La Croix will continue fizzing long after the explosion, defying the laws of physics, and will eventually grow what can only be described as an eyeball staring at you. Judging you. Calling you an idiot in silence.
Moral of this Life Lesson with Leeanne?
Always listen to the quiet voice. It knows things.
With you in healing,
Leeanne
