An altar is place where we can lay our intentions and prayer, where we can focus our attention to shift energy. Have you ever wondered where some of these pieces came from, the stories they tell?
Every piece (and every plant) has a story. A story of my journey and the stories that helped bring the whole studio together. Someday, I’ll tell you even more. For now, enjoy these tidbits.

1 - I knew I wanted a piece of furniture like this to anchor the space. How lucky am I that is my neighbor and when I saw this out back under a tarp, I begged Tom to refinish it for me. (Tom did the prop shelves, too, from old ladders.)
2 - Buddha came from HomeGoods but has been everywhere with me. Was in a studio at for years and is adorned with malas from all over the world. ✌🏽
3 - One of my favorite pieces of all time came home with me after a service trip to Malawi with
4 - Blue Ganesha is also one of my favorites and comes from a trip to Nepal with the first group of teachers I ever trained, also a service trip to help build a school in a remote village in the Himalayas.

6 - A recent edition made by a longtime student who visited the student recently from upstate New York. is a wonderful artist!
7 - Hummingbird from a retreat in Roatan Island, Honduras, and a gift from a bestie living in Spain when the studio opened who knows my love of sacred hearts.
8 - Tree of Life from Les Cayes, Haiti after a life-changing week with
