Come and work with us as a clinic receptionist!
Full time or part time (mornings and/or afternoons)
We are looking for someone who is a detail-oriented team player to be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. The position is currently part time, with the possibility of moving to full time based on developing skills and clinical staffing needs. You will also be assigned duties as described below:
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
· Schedule patient visits
· Check in patients, including collecting copays
· Preparing patient charts with the appropriate patient and provider paperwork
· Answering basic questions regarding patient copays (benefit information will be obtained by billing office and entered into the patient account)
· Basic data information (entering patient demographic information into software)
· Answer and directing phone calls
· Act as first point of contact for visitors
Direct communication with insurance companies regarding benefits, claims, authorizations, etc.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or relevant work experience
· Ability to maintain a positive attitude
· Friendly and approachable demeanor (co-workers and patients)
· Excellent communication skills
· Proficient with basic computer skills
· Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions
· Task and detail oriented
· Avoids distractions in order to stay focused on providing excellent patient flow
· Views job as an important part of daily clinic operations
· Willingness to take direction and feedback
