Acts of service can be for yourself. Do something kind for your future self:
Fold the laundry
Prep tomorrow's lunch
Tidy one small space
These simple Acts send your brain a message "I care about you."

Don't underestimate the healing power of touch:
A long hug.
Holding a loved ones hand.
Using a weighted blanket.
A hand over your heart and a deep breath.
Safe, comforting touch can calm the nervous system and remind you that you're not alone.

Self care doesn't have to be elaborate.
It can be as simple as showing up for yourself with kindness- one small action at a time.

Outside of the box therapy. We offer individual, marriage and family therapy as well as life coaching. Join us for a visual arts self-discovery group or arrange for individual sessions. Are you looking for a D.B.T group? We have one. Janey is also one of the three trained therapists, in the state of Utah, who can offer Accelerated Resolution therapy or A.R.T, it is therapy specifically geared towards helping with the effects of trauma and other stressors.
