When everyday life with your child feels unpredictable and stressful, it can leave you wondering if anything will ever work. That’s exactly how this mom felt as she tried everything she could to help her son, Oliver, with focus, motor tics, and big emotional struggles. 😩👇🏼
Mom shared, “Oliver was having a hard time concentrating on school work and following directions. He also developed some motor tics that came out of nowhere, and he was having difficulty regulating his emotions. The smallest things would set him off, and it just made everyday life stressful and unpredictable.
Honestly, it felt like nothing was working. We thought we had tried everything, and it felt very defeating. We cut out dyes and sugar, added supplements, made sure he was getting rest, and even did bloodwork. Nothing seemed to help.”
When they saw Oliver’s neurological scans 📈, they finally felt like their concerns were being validated and that’s when they chose to begin chiropractic care.
She said, “We saw slight improvements after just several visits. The more time that passed, we kept on seeing little changes here and there, and although some of the behaviors and tics would still come up, his nervous system was able to regulate so much better.
Now, he’s doing so much better. He’s happier, it’s easier to redirect him, and his tics have gone away. Although stress or sickness can still bring some struggles, his nervous system always gets back on track thanks to our amazing doctors. We plan to stay as long as possible!” ❤️🙌🏻

Ryan was constantly getting sick, and his family was desperate for a solution. 😩
Mom said, “When I first reached out to PX Docs, Ryan was always getting sick. His asthma only acts up with illness, and it seemed like with every cold, he would go into bronchospasms that we could not control. He would end up using his rescue inhaler, his neb machine, and oral steroids just to control what was going on.
Many times, we ended up in the ER and urgent care. I finally decided we needed to do something because it would affect his school and his quality of life.
We tried so many doctors, but the reality is once you are in that 24 hr coughing fit, the only thing that would work was the steroids, which, with such frequent use, can be so bad for the body.” ‼️
That’s when they decided to try a totally different type of care. One that would get to the root cause of his overactive and completely overwhelming immune response: a dysregulated nervous system. 👇🏼
After starting care, Mom said they knew it was working when he got a cold, and it was just like everyone else’s cold, and didn’t completely wipe him out.
She said, “When he got his first cold while under care, I was amazed that it was just a regular cough; we did not need any rescue inhalers, neb treatments, and no bronchospasms, which meant no oral steroids. I was so relieved.” 😌
Now, with continued and consistent care, they have seen so many changes. “He has not missed nearly as much school this year and can get through a cold like everyone else and not end up hooked to neb machines and steroids. I love it.” They are even going to talk to his asthma MD about changing to a lower dose or even stopping his inhaler.
Way to go, Ryan!! 🎉
