😍Happy National Social Workers Day!

Today we proudly recognize our amazing Social Services team: Director of Social Services Hannah Polk and Social Services Assistant Hannah Eckwall. These two make an incredible difference every day by supporting our residents and their families with compassion, dedication, and expertise.

⭐️These ladies help ensure smooth admission and discharge processes, advocate tirelessly for residents, and provide guidance through a wide variety of needs. Their work strengthens our community and helps create an environment where every resident feels supported and heard.

☺️National Social Worker Day is observed annually during the third week of March to highlight the vital contributions of social Workers and the impact of social services across the country. March is also recognized as Social Work Month, with the 2026 theme: “Social Workers: Uplift. Defend. Transform.” This theme reflects the profession’s mission to promote well-being, protect rights, and empower vulnerable populations.

Our residents and staff at Golden Age Manor brought the spirit of Mardi Gras to life with music, laughter, and plenty of festive fun! From beads and bright smiles to a delicious homemade king cake, the celebration was one to remember. A special moment when Sharon “found the baby” in the cake bringing a little extra good luck for the year ahead! 🎉👑

Fun was truly had by all as we celebrated together in true Mardi Gras style!

What a wonderful celebration we had! 🎉 Palma was crowned our beautiful Valentine Queen 👑, and the room was filled with love and laughter.
