We have some exciting news! Dr. Kayla is certified to perform Dry Needling in our office!

What is Dry Needling? It involves inserting sterile, single use, very fine needles into targeted muscles, tissues, ligaments and joints. The goal with dry needling is to help the body release natural opioids for pain relief, bring more blood flow to help increase the healing process, alter the inflammation in that area, and relax the muscle tissue. Electric stimulation can be used with most treatment sessions as well to greater amplify these responses.

What can Dry Needling treat? Some issues that Dr. Kayla was trained to treat include trigger points, chronic back pain, arthritis (back, hip, knee, shoulder), headaches, migraines, TMJ, Achilles Tendinitis, Plantar Fasciitis, Tennis Elbow, Golfers Elbow, and Carpal Tunnel.
