Quarter Moon Acres' equine therapy center provides therapeutic horseback riding lessons to children and adults with physical, mental and emotional barriers. We offer equine assisted activities to these individuals without regard to race, color, creed or financial need. Our students benefit not only from the weekly lessons, but also from the relationship they develop with the horse, certified instructional staff and trained volunteers. Our Mission
With Gods help, to improve the quality of life
both physically and emotionally of all individuals with disabilities through equine assisted activities. Our equestrian program teams student riders with instructors, horses and volunteers in therapeutic riding sessions designed to challenge and inspire riders with special needs. Horseback riding helps people who are physically, cognitively or emotionally challenged achieve an improved quality of life. Based on input from doctors, therapists, instructors and parents, each rider's individuals goals are
designed to compliment ongoing therapy and education.

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, Quarter Moon Acres remembers and honors the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice allows us the freedom to gather, heal, serve, and build community together.

Today we also hold close the families who carry the weight of that sacrifice every day. ❤️

At QMA, we are especially grateful for the veterans and first responders who are part of our barn family through our Hooves for Heroes program. Horses have a special way of bringing peace, connection, and healing, and we are honored to walk alongside those who have served.

As we spend time with family and friends today, may we never forget the true meaning of Memorial Day.
