✨ EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT! ✨

Meet our Executive Director, Tamra! 💛 Since joining Obria in January 2022, she has been passionate about connecting with people, sharing the mission of Obria, and hearing the stories behind why others care so deeply about supporting women and families. One of her favorite parts of the role is that she’s always learning. No two days (or conversations!) are the same.

She grew up in Lindsborg, Kansas, a small Swedish town in central Kansas, and is married to her husband, Luke. Together, they’re raising five kids (ages 16, 16, 15, 12, and 10)—a season of life she truly loves as she cheers each of them on in their favorite activities. ⚽🎶📣

Fun fact: she and Luke lived in Germany during their first year of marriage! 🇩🇪

Her favorite local spots include for coffee ☕️ and Provisions for dinner. A meaningful passage for her and Luke is Isaiah 58, which has guided many of their decisions about how to invest their time and resources.

At home, she’s joined by two dogs, Dutch (black lab/border collie) and Daphne (golden retriever), and a cat named Kalmar 🐾

We are so grateful for her leadership, heart for people, and dedication to Obria’s mission. Thank you for all you do! 💖

As we look. back on 2025, we're overwhelmed with gratitude for the lives touched, the stories shared, and hope extended within our clinic!

This year at Obria, we were honored to provide 843 medical appointments, including 381 pregnancy appointments (147 women seeing their baby for the very first time). We also offered 248 STD appointments, 148 general appointments, and 66 well-women exams.

Beyond medical care, we supported families through 933 parenting classes, provided thousands of dollars in child care supplies, created monthly mom meet-ups and healthcare support services.

Every number represents a person. Every appointment represents a moment of care. Thank you to our patients, staff, volunteers, and supporters who made this year possible. As we step into a new year, our mission remains the same; compassionate care, rooted in dignity and hope.

Caroline Kitchener, a reporter with the New York Times, spent 2 days with us at Obria. She listened, she learned, and she reported. Her story was published this morning.

At Obria, our mission remains: to provide affordable, comprehensive reproductive healthcare with compassion and respect for every client—no matter their story or circumstances. Our medical team is here to answer questions, address concerns, and walk alongside each patient without judgment or pressure.

Over the years, our medical services have grown to better meet the diverse needs of those we serve. We offer STD testing and treatment, well-woman exams including Pap smears and cancer screenings, as well as pregnancy testing and ultrasounds—all provided by fully licensed medical professionals in our accredited, HIPAA-compliant clinic.
