Your nervous system controls every cell, organ and tissue in your body.

Muscles fall into the tissue category and of course there are many different types of tissues! When a muscle is tight, sore, stiff, etc. instead of thinking solely on the muscle itself; think about what is controlling that muscle.

Nerves! 💡

Your nerves innervate the muscles. A sore, tight muscle is what you feel but what about the nerve that is supplying that muscle?
Get to the root cause and help the nervous system! Help the nerves that innervate the muscle then you can start helping the muscle itself with massage, stretching, etc.

Help your nervous system to help your muscles 💪🏽

Spending a weekend with , my chiropractic family, makes for the best kind of weekend 🤗

Mt.Horeb, Wisconsin is where Dr.Gonstead opened his massive clinic, with a hotel, in order to serve patients from all around the world. As doctors and students we are so blessed to continue going to his clinic to learn, grow and better serve patients.

This weekend we worked on many skills, specifically the knee chest table. The table that can take care of any bone in the spine! 🤯

Beginning in the 1970’s, Dr.Chung Ha Shu, Ph.D., and his colleagues at the Biomechanics Department of the University of Colorado began a series of studies showing that just 10mmHG pressure (about the weight of a dime) could cause a 40-60% Decrease in electrical transmission down the course of the nerve. 🤯
