I'm excited to announce that Massage for Everybody is moving to Main St in Ames!

Beginning Monday, April 28th, the new address is:

400 Main St
Ames, IA 50010

Some important things to note include:

* I will be sharing an office with Central Iowa Pain and Wellness

* the office is located on the 4th block of Main St and is next to The Spice Tai Cuisine and across the street from Everts Flowers Home Gifts

* please enter through the front of the building on Main St

* metered parking is available on Main St - you can also park in the lot at the back of the building where free 2 hour parking is available. You can easily walk to the front door from the parking lot through the courtyard located next to the building

My phone number, email, and website remain the same, and you can continue to reach me just as you always have. This move allows me to serve you even better, with a more comfortable space, better accessibility, improved facilities, and the opportunity to work collaboratively with the providers at Central Iowa Pain and Wellness.

Whitney (she/her) became a massage therapist to help people’s bodies feel better and help people feel better about their bodies. She has been a practicing licensed massage therapist since 2002 (IA 03048) and is a graduate of Carlson College of Massage Therapy. Whitney has a diverse and evolving set of techniques that includes Swedish/Relaxation massage, Deep Tissue/Therapeutic massage, Trigger Point Therapy, TMJD Soft Tissue Therapy, Prenatal massage, as well as training in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy. Whitney sees herself as a deep tissue therapist with the intention of untying a knot rather than digging in with hard pressure. In a typical massage, she offers a combination of relaxation and focused work, using a range of light, moderate, and firm pressure depending on the client’s needs and requests. Whitney is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
