North Grand Dental (formerly Consamus and Hampton Dental)has been offering a full range of dental care to Ames and the surrounding communities since 1981.

The clinic specializes in patient care and comfort utilizing the most advanced dental technology. North Grand Dental (Formerly called Consamus and Hampton Dental Clinic) has been offering a full range of dental care to Ames and the surrounding communities since 1981. The clinic specializes in patient care and comfort utilizing the most advanced dental technology including digital x-rays, soft tissue diode laser treatment, and CEREC cad/cam technology. We provide comfort amenities like flat screen TV's in all of the treatment rooms, iPods, and warm blankets upon request. Nitrous oxide is also available. We provide dentistry that includes preventative, oral surgery, root canal therapy, restorative and reconstructive, and treatment disease (gum disease). We also provide all aspects of cosmetic dentistry including whitening, porcelain laminates, and resin bonding. We are also providers of Delta Dental of Iowa and Wellmark, but will gladly accept and bill most dental insurance companies. Because we use electronic claims processing, our patients receive faster responses from their insurance companies. Our office staff will also send email appointment reminders. New patients welcome!

Proud parents are Amber (our front desk chief), husband Colton, and sister Alayna. We miss Amber at the office, but she is busy soaking in all of the baby bliss. Congratulations.

We had a darling little office baby shower for our front office chief, Amber. People brought food and gifts and we celebrated the soon to be mom of 2 with a fun day. Congrats to Amber and her family who will welcome a little girl very soon.

We are so happy to announce the birth of sweet Hayzel. North Grand Dental RDA, Mataya, gave birth to this beautiful baby girl on January 11 at 9:41am. Hayzel is a peanut at 18 inches long and 5lbs 1.3 oz but our little angel and her mama are doing well. Congrats to Mataya!!

Our team had a great "lunch and learn" yesterday gaining more knowledge on how water picks can help prevent cavities and decay. We are constantly looking for ways to enhance treatment and keep our patient's smiles healthy and beautiful.
