Your brain is incredibly adaptable, which means it can rewire itself based on the habits you engage in. This process is called neuroplasticity - something that I talk about a lot on this page.
The good news is that by practicing positive behaviors, like self-acceptance or healthier routines, your brain can eventually make those behaviors feel natural and automatic. Over time, it gets easier, and you don’t have to put as much effort in.
But the bad news is that the same thing happens with negative habits, like constant self-criticism. If you keep engaging in those patterns, your brain strengthens those pathways, making it harder to break free from them. The key is to consciously choose habits that align with the version of yourself you want to become.
How do you think your current habits—whether positive or negative—are shaping the way you think and feel about yourself? And what small, positive habit could you start today to begin rewiring your brain for long-term growth?
Take care of your mind and body. Love, Nawal ♥️
