Big news! I'm heading to Washington, D.C., this week to attend the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Summit, the largest gathering of small business owners in the country!

I’m incredibly honored to be part of a cohort of 40 Iowa small business owners traveling together to represent our state. We’ll join more than 2,500 entrepreneurs from across the U.S. to advocate on Capitol Hill, learn the latest tools and trends in small business, hear from amazing national leaders, and network.

It’s an incredible opportunity to share our experiences directly with policymakers and help shape solutions that support small businesses nationwide.

I feel deeply grateful for this chance to represent Iowa and the entrepreneurial spirit that makes our communities so strong. I can’t wait to bring new insights, inspiration, and connections back home to keep fueling the growth of local businesses right here in Ames. 🌿❤️

Hello! I’m Jenny

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my page. I am a wife and a mother to 3 little boys. That's our crew there in the photo. I love spending time outside, whether it's in my garden, canoeing a river, or traveling to national parks. I was born and raised in Iowa, moved to Ames, IA when I started school at Iowa State University in 2002 and never left. I love community and our sweet little home in downtown Ames. I spend most days juggling family life, a full-time job at ISU, and still pursuing other passions and service in my community. I started using essential oils about four years ago.

I had heard friends talk about using essential oils over and over. I wanted to try them but never had the chance to go to a class or talk more with someone about what you were really supposed to do with them. I understood that people loved them, Young Living essential oils that is, but figuring out how to use them was confusing to me. So, I dove right in and purchased Young Living's starter kit when a friend (again) was raving about them. She easily hooked me up with a kit (really the best way to start!), and over time, slowly and surely, I learned how to use essential oils. Since then, I've been helping my family feel better, sleep better, chill out (this momma has days!), and overall make life EASIER. Essential oils won't be able to solve all your problems but sometimes they sure do come close. This is why you'll often hear me say "I have an oil for that!".

Because essential oils can be challenging to figure out, I'm passionate about teaching others and creating specific blends to help people introduce essential oils into their daily routine. So, let's meet and let me share with you the ways I've been able to use essential oils with my whole family. I'm also happy to answer any questions. Ask me anything. I'm here as another mom, woman, and friend to help us all get through.
