It might sound crazy to let someone pierce your skin with a bunch of needles, but microneedling is not as painful or weird as it sounds. The needles used for microneedling are very tiny and, while the procedure isn't exactly painless, the pain is on par with similar rejuvenating treatments.

In other words, it's not that bad and the results are absolutely worth it. If you want to increase collagen production and get healthier looking skin and a more even texture and tone, microneeding might be right for you.

If you find a roundish, slightly raised, and scaly patch on your skin that seems to have come out of nowhere, it might be pityriasis rosea. Pityriasis rosea is a somewhat common skin rash.

It's not contagious and usually disappears on its own after a few weeks, but there are some treatments that can help if it becomes itchy or keeps coming back. Read more here.
