Team Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Ames Team Chiropractic and Rehabilitation of Ames is directed by Chris Feil, DC.

Dr. Feil has an extensive background in sports medicine as he served on the sports medicine staffs of two Division 1 universities and has had the opportunity to work with MLB and Olympic athletes. Dr. Feil completed clinical internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda Maryland prior to graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic. During this internship he worked with active duty soldiers, helping them get back to combat level fitness. He also spent a great deal of time learning about neurologic /orthopedic injuries and diagnostic imaging from some of the nation’s top doctors on the east coast. Following his internship, Dr. Feil worked at the Yalich Clinic in Glen Burnie Maryland, official team chiropractors for the Baltimore Ravens, University of Maryland Terrapins, UMBC Retrievers, and the Bowie Baysox the AA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Dr. Feil combines these experiences with specialized manual techniques and instrument assisted soft tissue techniques (ex. Active Release Technique, Graston, SASTM) to complement chiropractic adjusting to treat a wide variety of conditions. Dr. Feil works with local coaches/trainers and healthcare providers to design and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans to help people reach their goals.

Meet Colton — Our New Intern at United Movement!

We’re excited to welcome Colton, a chiropractic intern from Palmer College, to the United Movement team for his final term! He’ll be with us for the next three months, learning alongside our providers and bringing fresh energy and insight to the clinic.

Colton has a passion for golf—both playing and helping others improve their game. He spent the day with us at Georges Niang's annual golf outing, and you may have seen him out on the course today where we sponsored a hole!

If you're looking to improve your swing, manage pain related to your game, or you play and want a provider who gets it, Colton is a great person to work with!

That’s why we’re launching our Foundational Strength Class, designed by Chiropractors and Physical Therapists to help you build strength the right way while preventing injuries and improving mobility.

✔️ Movement First Approach – Learn how to engage the right muscles before adding load, so you build strength without bad habits.
✔️ Stability & Mobility Drills – Improve flexibility and joint stability to move with power and control.

NEW SPACE UPDATE at United Movement! With the incredible help of our staff, their families, and a few local pros, we transformed our gym space in just three weeks. This new space is built for personal training and strength classes—helping our patients build resilience, move better, and stay stronger!

As you know, we love to pay attention to the details—how you move, how you train, and now, how we organize. Our hyper-organized wall storage keeps everything in its place, so there’s no wasted time searching for equipment (or pretending the heavier weights don’t exist). We are thrilled to announce that O'Rien Vance has joined United Movement as our new personal trainer and strength coach! 🏋️‍♂️

O'Rien’s journey began on the football field at Iowa State University, where he not only excelled as an athlete but also served as a three-time team captain. His leadership on and off the field set the standard for excellence, proving that he leads by example and knows how to elevate those around him to perform at a high level.

Beyond his athletic achievements, O'Rien is a natural educator and communicator, making him a perfect fit for United Movement’s values. His ability to break down complex training concepts and connect with clients ensures that every individual gets the guidance and motivation they need to succeed.

After his collegiate career, he transitioned into coaching, gaining valuable experience as a CrossFit coach and earning his certification as a personal trainer.(more on this transition later)
