Spring is right around the corner and our prenatal education classes have spots left for those of you due in the coming (hopefully) warmer months 🌱

Childbirth education- this evidence based childbirth class taught by Evidence Based Birth instructor, spinning babies parent educator, and birth doula is available as a one day class or 2-3 week series. These classes fill almost every single month so if you’d like to take an out of hospital independent childbirth class, sign up now! Recommended between 26-34 weeks of pregnancy.

Spinning Babies Parent Class- another one of our most popular classes for optimal fetal positioning and body prep for a faster and more comfortable birth. This class also fills every month! Recommended starting as early as 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Prenatal Breastfeeding Prep- set yourself up for success with feeding along with free text and phone support throughout those first few weeks postpartum. Offered alternating in person and virtual.

Bringing Baby Hime, Newborn Care class- everything you need to know about caring for your new baby! This class has also been filling up so don’t miss out!

CPR for expecting families- Learn to save your child’s life. Great for parents, grandparents, caregivers, etc.

Empowered VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean)- learn about finding a VBAC friendly provider, avoiding the most common reasons for cesareans, risks/benefits of a repeat cesarean vs VBAC, support in drafting your VBAC preferences, and more. Dates chosen by request!

📚One day childbirth education class- January and March classes are full. Next available date is May 31st, 10am-6pm with 5 spots left.

📚2 & 3 week childbirth education series- 3 spots left in January and February, March and April 5 spots each.

🤰Spinning Babies parent class- January is full and February only has *1* spot left! March and April classes are still open.

🤱Breastfeeding prep class- A handful of spots left in each of the upcoming virtual and in person classes between now and April!

👶Bringing Baby Home, Newborn care class- Full until April! Still space open for April and June.

✨ What a year it has been for Saltwater Doulas! ✨

2024 brought so many exciting milestones and unforgettable moments for our team:
🌟 We opened the doors to our Prenatal Collective Center in Amesbury, creating a welcoming space for education, support, and community.
🌟 Our team grew with the addition of many new to us doulas (and we celebrated the arrival of 3 precious doula babies! 💗💙💗).
🌟 We expanded our mentorship program and got many brand new amazing doulas certified
🌟 Our travel area was expanded to support even more families.
🌟 We collaborated with incredible local businesses and practitioners who share our passion for empowering parents.
🌟 We hosted fun events that brought families together and strengthened our community ties.

We couldn’t have asked for a better year in our new space and are so grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey. 💙

➡️ 110 Births Supported at 22 different birth locations
➡️ 2,857 Postpartum Hours:

👶 887 hours of Postpartum Overnight Support
➡️ 5 Sibling Support Packages provided—helping families with older children during labor
➡️ 9 Placentas Encapsulated, a new service we introduced this year
➡️ 187 Couples attended our Prenatal Education Classes at our new space (April-January)
✨Our most-attended birth location was Exeter Hospital, followed closely by Anna Jaques Hospital and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. This year, we also expanded into Boston and Maine for labor support!

With 2025 bookings already filling into September, we’re beyond excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for making this year unforgettable—we look forward to supporting even more families in 2025 and beyond! 🎉
