🎆🎉 Sensory-Friendly 4th of July Tips from Your Friendly OT! 🎉🎆
Fireworks and festivities can be super exciting—but also a bit much for our sensory systems! If you or your little one feel overwhelmed by loud noises or bright lights, here are some easy OT-approved ways to enjoy the holiday:
✨ Find a quiet spot or watch fireworks from afar
✨ Use noise-canceling headphones or cozy earplugs
✨ Bring comfort items like favorite blankets & toys
✨ Try a fun, low-key activity like sparkler art or glow stick dancing
✨ Keep hydrated & take breaks when needed

Our Sensory-Friendly Dance Bootcamp is off to an amazing start—and there’s still time to join us! Led by OT Erin Wolfe, this class supports kids with unique sensory and behavioral needs through movement, structure, and FUN! 💃🕺
