Mental health is for everyone, but access and stigma still look different in BIPOC communities. 💬 Let’s break the silence, share resources, and create spaces where healing is seen as strength, not shame.

Feeling scattered? Try the “Rule of 3”: write down just three priorities for your day. Anything extra is a bonus, not a failure. Focusing on less helps reduce ADHD paralysis and builds momentum.

✨ The energy from *Soul Sessions: Life Lessons – Where’s the Balance in Life?* still lingers in the best way. ✨

The women who gathered were cared for, seen, and supported — they reconnected with themselves, found stillness in community, and left with tools to bring balance back into their lives. 🌿

It was warm. It was healing. It was *needed.* 💕

Now, the journey continues.

💛 Practicing Gratitude is Good For Your Mental Health:

Gratitude isn’t about pretending everything is perfect. It’s about training your mind to notice what is going right, even on difficult days. Research shows that regularly expressing gratitude can boost mood, reduce anxiety, and even improve sleep quality.

Here are a few simple ways to start:
📝 Keep a Gratitude Journal: Write down 3 things you’re thankful for each day (big or small).
💬 Express It: Send a quick text or voice note thanking someone who made a difference in your day.
🌅 Practice Mindful Moments: Take a minute to pause and notice something beautiful around you.
💭 Shift Your Self-Talk: When you catch yourself focusing on what’s missing, remind yourself of what’s already here.

Small habits like these rewire your brain over time, helping you feel calmer, more grounded, and connected. 🌼

You don’t have to have it all together to deserve peace. 🌼

Healing isn’t about being “fixed”, it’s about learning to care for yourself through the messy moments too.

You don’t have to pour endlessly from an empty cup, even the ocean needs time to rest between tides. 🌊

Progress isn’t about constant motion; it’s about flow. Some days you’re the rain, steady and full of life. Other days you’re the puddle; still, reflecting, and gathering strength for what’s next. Both are part of growth.

So take what you can handle today, and let that be enough. The rain doesn’t rush, it nourishes in its own time. ☔️

Honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day
Today, we recognize the resilience, wisdom, and strength of Indigenous communities and acknowledge the importance of mental health support that is culturally grounded and trauma-informed.

Generations of Indigenous peoples have faced systemic trauma, displacement, and erasure, yet their stories, healing practices, and cultural traditions continue to thrive. Supporting Indigenous mental health means honoring that history, uplifting Indigenous voices, and ensuring access to care that respects culture and identity. 💛

If you or someone you know is seeking Indigenous-centered mental health support, here are some helpful resources:

StrongHearts Native Helpline: 1-844-7NATIVE (1-844-762-8483): 24/7 confidential domestic violence, dating violence, and sexual assault support for Native communities.
Native Crisis Text Line: Text NATIVE to 741741: free, confidential crisis support.
Indian Health Service (IHS) Behavioral Health: www.ihs.gov/behavioralhealth : culturally competent care and programs for Native peoples.
We R Native: www.wernative.org : youth-focused health and mental wellness resources created by Native youth, for Native youth.

Healing is resistance. Connection is power. Your mental health matters, today and every day.
