1. If you don't have a basic skincare regimen and routine (that includes daily SPF), botox is a waste of money.

2. You'd probably benefit more from laser than from filler. And its definitely safer.

3. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I cannot undo a lifetime of aging easily or cheaply. Start with skin resurfacing (laser, peels, microneedling) when you're around 40 and you'll need less botox and fillers for the rest of your life.

It seems like all my patients are breathing a sigh of relief at the early signs of winter ending. That seasonal mood stuff is no joke!

If you're looking to dust off from winter and refresh your skin before summer, here are some options...

💉Microneedling with PRP
Pros: short down time, very safe, gives you the glow.
Cons: significant skin resurfacing takes multiple sessions.

🧪Chemical peels
Pros: very consistent patient experience (we know exactly what to expect), gives you the glow, lifts pigment.
Cons: significant improvements take multiple sessions, your skin visibly peels giving 2-3 days of social downtime (but your skin is never red or burned).

⚡️Laser treatments
Pros: highly customizable to address your unique concerns, most effective way to improve skin, maximal results can be achieved in one treatment.
Cons: the better the result, the longer the down time. Down time can be anywhere from 2 days to 10 days, depending on intensity.

All of these are best done before the summer sun is out, so book yours soon!

Some notes ⬇️⬇️⬇️

If you’re worried about pain, don’t be. It mostly just feels like pressure and squishing and it was actually mostly uncomfortable in my armpit/muscle area not on my actual breast.

Early detection of breast cancer can absolutely save lives and I know so many young people that have found very early breast cancers on screening mammograms and been able to treat them with no long-term health problems.

Think of it this way: it’s actually something your insurance covers so get the most out of your insurance!!

2. Don't put too much in. Sometimes do it in two sittings.

3. Don't repeat treatments often. Maybe every 1-2 years.
