There are times when the body is holding more than it can process on its own.
Stress builds. The system becomes activated. Old layers can surface without much warning.
In moments like this, the body doesn’t always need more analysis or explanation.
It often needs support at a physical level.
Touch can offer something that’s hard to access otherwise — a way for the system to settle, to reorganize, to feel supported while things move through.
For those working directly with the body, this kind of support becomes especially important.
It’s not just about what you’re doing, but how you’re showing up — creating enough safety for the body to soften and begin to shift.
There’s something about being met through physical contact that allows change to happen in a way words often can’t reach.
