When we say Comprehend has saved over 19 years of documentation time, we’re being intentionally conservative.
We assume that every visit requires at least 5 minutes of documentation — even in cases where a clinician does a quick 30-second brain dump.
For more complex visits, such as evaluations, we estimate documentation time based on visit length, assuming note-writing takes roughly 30% of the session.
To avoid overestimating, we cap time saved at 20 minutes per note, even though many clinicians report significantly more time back.
Using these assumptions, Comprehend saves 5–20 minutes per visit, depending on complexity.
When applied across all visits processed through Comprehend, that adds up to 19+ years of time returned to PTs — time that would have been spent documenting, now redirected to patient care and life outside the clinic!
