Are you wondering what legislation is on the table that PSSNY is fighting for in 2026? Interested in learning more about current legislation so you can advocate for your profession, your pharmacy, your patients?

PAWNY is here to help educate our community on ever moving legislative pieces and keep you informed.

This first bill is a top priority, the "PAPA bill". Why? This bill would require pharmacy benefit managers to reimburse pharmacies at least the cost of the drugs they dispense. This is the bare minimum needed for pharmacies to keep their doors open. Without this bill, local pharmacy doors continue to close and pharmacy deserts grow wider. The Senate passed PAPA but it remains on the Assembly calendar. Contact your representatives today and ask them to support PAPA to keep community pharmacies alive.
