Learn more about the presenter for our upcoming immunization CE:

Dr. Snyder is a Clinical Research Pharmacist at the Wilmot Cancer Institute, where she brings her expertise in public health and pharmacy to advance oncology research and patient care. Previously, she served as Chief Pharmacist for the Monroe County Department of Public Health, playing a pivotal role in COVID-19 vaccine logistics and coordination during the pandemic. Dr. Snyder completed her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health degrees at St. John Fisher College, where she also trained as a Public Health Pharmacy Fellow in collaboration with the Monroe County Department of Public Health. Her dedication to vaccines and public health remains a cornerstone of her career, now focused on clinical research initiatives in cancer treatment. Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Snyder enjoys beekeeping, gardening, and studying to become a sommelier.

Looking to add birth control dispensing by standing order to your pharmacy’s services? Completing this CE will satisfy the state required training. Click this link to sign up!

In New York State, community pharmacists can newly prescribe birth control (certain forms) under a standing order, but need to be trained to do so. Thus, this CE will cover the required training content to practice effectively under that standing order.
