09/11/2025
šÆļø Today on 9/11, I honor the lives lost in 2001. But I canāt ignore the parallel between international terrorism then and the domestic terrorism we face now in 2025.
Yesterday, my teenage son showed me the video of Charlie Kirk being shot in the neck. He canāt unsee that. Neither can I. His innocence was stolenājust like so many kids who watched classmates slaughtered in schools.
š Letās be clear: shooters who hide behind assault rifles are cowards.
We need leaders who unite usānot argue over whether we pause for prayer after tragedy. Words should fight wordsānot bullets. And the mental health epidemic must be taken seriously, not politicized.
Iām not Republican. Iām not Democrat. Iām a moderate who refuses extremism.
If you condone what happened yesterday, unfollow me.
Today, honor not just the victims of 9/11ābut also the victims of Columbine, Sandy Hook, Uvalde, George Floyd, the children shot while praying last week, and now Charlie Kirk and his family.
Enough is enough. America is better than thisābut only if we demand it. šŗšø
