Since I have several patient's that ride, I took the opportunity to get on a horse to feel the mechanics for myself.

This beautiful horse is a 16.3 hand warmblood boss mare! She was very tolerant and patient with me.

She may have rolled her eyes when I kicked her in the bum with my very ungraceful dismount.

I am so blessed and gratful to have had this experience! My back only hurts a little...

"I made several visits to Roxanne because I had been having pain in my shoulder for months that I had not been able to resolve through rest, pain/inflammation medications (even doctor-prescribed) or exercise. Roxanne listened very carefully, conducted a thorough evaluation, and offered several appropriate exercises over several sessions. Amazingly I noticed a difference almost immediately and with diligently practicing the techniques she showed me, the problem seems to be resolved. Best of all, she helped me to understand the underlying causes so I can address them and hopefully prevent any recurrence. Roxanne was attentive in between appointments too and her follow up was great. I highly recommend her if you need a physical therapist!" Becky S.
