MHT is a 2 year program that prepares the high school student to pursue a degree in allied health. Students may earn up to 27 credit hours from LCCC, as well as get hands on experience in the healthcare field.

The MHT23 class got it started with the Domino's Going Green and Gold Fair! We are very excited to have received a grant from the city of Oberlin for the Youth Climate Action Fund! We will be kicking it off on August 25 til Oct 25, and we have some FUN, ENGAGING and IMPACTFUL stuff coming. We have several community collaborators already, and looking for a few more! Our focus is decreasing one time use plastics, awareness of microplastics on the body, awareness of fast fashion, the impact on Lake Erie (looking for local restaurants who want to be Lake Erie Friendly) Message me if you are interested.

Thank you Ohio School Safety Center for awarding the 2025 and 2026 Medical Health Technology Classes for the Ohio School Safety Standout Award 2025. This award comes from 5 years of MHT students (future healthcare and first responders), creating a safer place for their peers. MHT25, you can pick up your certificates at main office till June 25. After that, I will have in classroom for end of August pick up. MHT26 and MHT27, "buckle up" we have some planning to do for the upcoming school year!
