MHT is a 2 year program that prepares the high school student to pursue a degree in allied health. Students may earn up to 27 credit hours from LCCC, as well as get hands on experience in the healthcare field.

San Diego, California — December 15, 2025 Impact Teen Drivers, a national nonprofit dedicated to reducing teen driver crashes and promoting shared roadway responsibility, hosted the 2025 Biennial Appreciation Luncheon, bringing together families, community champions, student leaders, educators, health professionals, and partners from across the United States. Mrs. Kim Haney and the Amherst Steele Medical Health Technology Students were invited and recognized for their efforts over the past five years, bringing awareness to safe teen driving. BIG THANK YOU to Impact Teen Drivers for hosting us. What an honor and great experience for the students :)
