This Occupational Therapy Month, we are proud to shine a light on our incredible full-time Occupational Therapist and Rehab Coordinator, Melissa 🤍

Melissa plays such a vital role in our clinic—not only providing exceptional, patient-centered care, but also helping lead and coordinate our rehab team to ensure every patient receives the best possible experience.

As an Occupational Therapist, Melissa has a unique gift for looking beyond the diagnosis and focusing on what truly matters—helping patients regain independence in their everyday lives. Whether it’s returning to work, caring for their families, or simply feeling confident in their daily routines, she is dedicated to making those goals a reality.

In her role as Rehab Coordinator, Melissa is the steady, supportive force behind the scenes, helping keep everything running smoothly while always advocating for both our patients and our team. She brings leadership, organization, and heart into everything she does.

Melissa specializes in the treatment of hand disorders, both surgical and non-surgical, providing expert, focused care to help patients regain function and reduce pain. She is also certified in dry needling therapy and is able to thoughtfully incorporate this technique into her treatments to further support healing and recovery.

We are so grateful to have Melissa as part of our therapy family and to celebrate the impact she makes every single day 💙

April is Occupational Therapy Month 🤍

This month, we celebrate a field that is truly one of a kind. Occupational therapy stands out because it focuses on the whole person—not just an injury or diagnosis, but how that impacts everyday life. From getting dressed in the morning, to caring for a family, to returning to work or enjoying hobbies—OT is all about helping people do the things that make life meaningful.

What makes occupational therapy so special is its creativity and personalization. No two treatment plans look the same, because no two lives are the same. Our therapists meet each patient where they are, adapting activities, environments, and routines to help them regain independence and confidence in ways that matter most to them.

It’s also a bridge between physical, cognitive, and emotional healing. Whether it’s rebuilding strength, improving coordination, working through sensory challenges, or finding new ways to accomplish daily tasks, OT looks at the bigger picture and supports the full journey—not just one piece of it.

We are so proud of our amazing team who pour their hearts into this work every single day. Their compassion, patience, and innovation are what make such a lasting impact on our patients and their families.
