Let’s get real and raw… Some days I wake up buzzing with nervous energy, other days it feels like I’m moving through quicksand. Yoga teachers aren’t immune to the very things we help others work through.
What my practice has given me are tools. Simple movements, breath, and shapes that help regulate my nervous system when it’s out of balance.
🌎 Grounding postures calm my body when anxiety takes over
❤️ Heart openers give me a lift when life feels heavy
⚖️ Balancing poses remind me that I can stay steady and hold both
These are poses I come back to when I need grounding, energy, and/or perspective. It’s not about perfection or “fixing” yourself, it’s about creating space to acknowledge, sit with, and move what’s inside.
If you’ve been struggling lately, let your practice be a reminder that your body already holds so much wisdom.
