Happy National Pediatrician Day to all the wonderful kid docs, and all the kid docs-in-training out there! How lucky are we to take care of the most awesome little human beings out there. This isn't just a job, it's a calling, and it's the best!! (No, we're not biased at all).

The term "pediatrics" is derived from the two Greek words, pais, meaning child and intros, meaning doctor and healer. As such, it is intended to mean the healer of children.
