of Health and Welfare as either High Supports (1 para-professional working with up to 3 clients) or Intense Supports (1 para-professional working with 1 client). SUPPORTED LIVING:
We also provide services to higher functioning and more independent clients in our supported living program. - Elevating Individuals to Their Highest Potential -

SELF ADVOCACY:
Our goal for each of our clients here at H.A.S. is optimal independence. Every person we work with has a different level of growth that they can attain and each has a unique speed at which they can progress. In a team atmosphere we educate these individuals to gain a higher level of independence and learn to be able to advocate for themselves at the growth and speed that best fits their situation. BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT:
Our multiple disciplinary approaches and with professionals on our team, our services are uniquely structured to work with individuals with mild to extreme behaviors. Our Masters Level Behaviorist and our Qualified Intellectual Disability Professionals develop client specific targeted goals to address behaviors of the client. These goals are worked on daily and are monitored and adjusted to ensure the highest level of effectiveness. RECREATION:
Everyone needs recreational activities to increase their quality of living! Each of our clients are able to get out a minimum of 3-5 times a week (though 2 times daily is encouraged) to take part in activities that they love and that are crucial to their independence, rehabilitation and their social interaction. EMPLOYMENT SERVICES:
Earning and maintaining gainful employment are foundational H.A.S. principles and key to a successful client. We coordinate with The Department of Vocational Rehabilitation in assisting those we serve in finding a job. “VocRehab” provides many educational and employment opportunities that we can assist our clients in accessing and help in traversing the often complex process.

Thanks to the entire team who put this together! We love our clients, and our staff! Here's to another great Spring and Summer.

🌞 Spring sunshine, great food, and even better company!

We had a blast at our Spring BBQ, where smiles were shared, burgers were flipped, and connections were made. A big thank-you to the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office for joining us—your presence and partnership mean so much to our community.

Events like these remind us how powerful it is when we come together to build trust, celebrate inclusion, and simply enjoy each other’s company. 💛

To everyone who came out: thank you for making the day unforgettable!

On , we’re taking a moment to listen, learn, and uplift autistic voices.

True inclusion starts with understanding—and continues with action.
💬 What have you learned from the autism community that changed your perspective?

1 in 36 children is diagnosed with autism in the U.S.—but statistics don’t tell the whole story.

Behind every number is a unique individual with thoughts, talents, and dreams.

💙 Let’s celebrate that individuality today and every day.
