“Prior to working with BreakThrough Physical Therapy. I had a Total Knee Replacement on my right knee. After surgery was completed, the BTPT group went right to work getting me back on the road to recovery. Through several planned exercises and vigorous workouts, along with hard work over a 7 week period, I was able to achieve my goal.

What I enjoyed the most about BreakThrough PT was the atmosphere. The physical therapists were very professional, hard-working, thorough, and happy to help me get through all the work that was done, so I could get back to a normal lifestyle. BTPT includes a great group of professionals. They know how to get the job done!”

As we’ve grown over the past few years, we want to start introducing more of our team.

This is Kelly Young, our Clinic Director for adult therapy.

Hometown?
Madison, MS (now in Tupelo)

What made you want to be a PT?
Playing softball at The University of Arkansas and going through injuries myself. I built relationships with my PTs that made a big impact on me.

Why BreakThrough?
The opportunity for growth and the mission of building relationships.

Favorite patients to work with?
Athletes or anyone who has goals and is motivated to reach them.

What’s one thing you want every patient to know?
I care about them more than just physical therapy and want what’s best for them.

Favorite things outside the clinic?
Time with family, her dogs, tennis, and Ole Miss sports.

What does being Clinic Director mean to you?
Getting to invest in my coworkers and push each other to be the best therapists for our community.

Go-to coffee order?
Anything from The Coffee Pot with an extra shot of espresso.
