🦇 Did you know bats are one of the main carriers of rabies in Oklahoma?
🦇People and pets get rabies mainly from bites by infected animals, but there are several ways to prevent this.
🦇If you see a bat, do not touch it or pick it up.

Rabies is seen in skunks and in smaller numbers in horses, cattle, cats, dogs and other mammals. The OSDH Epidemiologist-on-Call is available 24/7 regarding rabies recommendations specific to animal bites at (405) 426-8710.
