Botox is a neuromodulator: this means it temporarily blocks the chemical signals from nerves that cause muscles to contract. This is why when it takes effect, the client’s forehead & glabella remain smooth, as pictured above!
The muscles cannot contract, and thus, over time, these ‘dynamic’ wrinkles will not form.
