I woke up this morning and gave thanks that I'm alive and healthy. (I practice daily gratitude). I have so many blessings in my life including this beautiful place across the street from my house to go hiking, surfing, etc. I never take life or any of the good I have for granted. I believe that having an attitude of gratitude keeps the mind focused on the positive. And where the mind goes the body follows!

Last week after 2 ER visits a short hospitalization and a kidney stone removal procedure I had another realization/reminder that life is very fragile and your health could be taken away in the snap of a finger. I am back in the saddle this week. There are no guarantees in life so do everything you can humanly to stay healthy and strong. Life is such a precious gift and I never take it for granted!
