Is Your Child’s Backpack Causing Back Pain? 🎒
Heavy backpacks can strain a child’s spine, leading to poor posture, muscle fatigue, and long-term discomfort. Overloaded bags stress the shoulders and lower back, increasing the risk of problems.
Research suggests that backpacks should weigh no more than 10-15% of a child’s body weight to prevent strain. Proper fit and wearing both straps evenly can also reduce the risk of back and shoulder pain. 👍
