opportunities for their children with developmental disabilities, My Day Counts / Orange County Adult Achievement Center has grown to serve over 800 adults in year-round programs designed to enrich the lives of the individuals served and enable them to achieve their full potential.

Are you interested in earning your High School Diploma? Do you know someone who is? Thanks to our partnership with New Opportunities Organization, My Day Counts can provide classes for adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities to earn their High School Diploma. A key achievement that helps them out on their pathway towards employment.

We have openings in the class, so if you are interested or know anyone who is, please reach out!

Note: All participants must be referred through the Regional Center.

Thanks to the California State Coastal Conservancy, we are prepared to go on multiple beach trips this summer! We are so grateful that we get to give all participants an opportunity to experience the coast.

Yesterday, Participants went out on a beach picnic, and for some of them, it was their first time getting to touch sand or even sit in a beach chair. They enjoyed their lunch with a view and had a day filled with fun.

We are proud to say we have opened up a business account with our partners from Bank of America for our Vending Machine Training.

We provide a Vending Machine Curriculum for participants like Shion, so they gain skills such as inventory management, restocking, money management, and business analysis.

Our growing partnership with Bank of America provides support for Shion to gain more experience with money management. Shion came along as the business account was opened, where he learned about cash flow, capital, and other topics Bank of America discusses with small business owners.

Thank you again to Bank of America for helping participants learn more about personal and business finance!
