June 24, 2025 — West Anaheim Medical Center, a proud member of Prime Healthcare, has been recognized by the Lown Institute as one of the most socially responsible hospitals in America, earning “A” grades in Social Responsibility, Health Equity, Patient Outcomes, Clinical Outcomes, Inclusivity, and Avoiding Overuse on the 2025–26 Lown Institute Hospitals Index. Out of more than 3,500 hospitals evaluated nationwide, only 5% achieved Honor Roll status—West Anaheim is proud to be among them.
West Anaheim Medical Center ranked in the top 30 out of 258 hospitals in California on the social responsibility metric.

A heartfelt thank you to all our dedicated staff for making Hospital Week a memorable celebration with our Fiesta Theme. We kicked off the week with delicious cinnamon rolls and coffee to honor our DAISY award recipients. Tuesday brought tasty chips, salsa, and refreshing mocktails, followed by sweet churros on Wednesday. Thursday was all about gratitude with gift distributions and exciting spinning wheel prize games. We wrapped up the week with a complimentary taco meal complemented by delicious tres leches cake for dessert. Thank you for going above and beyond to serve our patients and community!

Skills Week at West Anaheim Medical Center was a remarkable success, bringing together staff from various departments to celebrate teamwork and professional development. Throughout the week, we offered a variety of treats to create a festive atmosphere and encourage camaraderie among colleagues.

We had the privilege of highlighting our most experienced team members, who shared their valuable insights and expertise. Their presentations and hands-on demonstrations provided an excellent opportunity for staff to learn from one another and enhance their skills.

A special thank you goes to Jeannette, Rania, and Julio for organizing such a well-coordinated and engaging event. Their efforts ensured that Skills Week was not only enjoyable but also beneficial for all participants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration at our hospital leading to better patient outcomes.
