Just a little Monday reminder 🦋✨

Growth isn’t becoming someone new by force. It’s slowly letting go of what no longer serves you

You don’t become who you want to be by staying the same, but you also don’t get there by moving from a place of frustration, regret, anger, or disliking who you were

There’s so much peace in accepting the versions of you that got you here and surrendering to the path that’s unfolding

If you’re moving through something right now,
whatever it may be… addiction, mental health, relationships (with others, with the gym, with food), or something you’re quietly navigating,
know that you’re not alone, and there is a way forward

step by step, day by day… it’s all part of it, allowing both to coexist:

growth and grace,
becoming and honoring

Mobility session 💥🤍🤝🏻

🗣️Motion is lotion: it’s easy to just go through the motions, but learning to move with more intention is key

This is the kind of mobility work I come back to often. Same patterns, just a little more awareness each time

Focus on control, rotation, and stability
so you’re not just chasing range…
you’re owning it

In order of slides:

1️⃣ Wide legged thoracic rotations
- ground one hand (to floor or yoga block), rotate the chest open without losing the hinge

2️⃣ Reverse tabletop
- adjust your hand position (finger angle) to find what feels best for your shoulders
- open through the front of the hips, press evenly through hands + feet

– w/ figure 4
lift the hips while guiding the knee down to open through the hip without losing control

3️⃣ Cossack lateral shifts (reach optional) 
- sit into one hip while the other stays long, control the side-to-side
- hips higher to make it more accessible

4️⃣ Half kneeling shoulder + thoracic rotation
- rotate through the ribcage, not just the arm

5️⃣ Runner’s lunge to reach flow
- shift in and out of the hip, let the breath guide the movement

6️⃣ Hip Flexor —> Hamstring Flow
- maintain long spine in the fold

7️⃣ Half kneeling QL reaches
- reach long through the side body, keep the hips stacked

Intentional movement that adds up

Lower Body Prep 💥

One of this week’s sessions full of movement prep staples:

Activation + Stability + Control + Power

Activation and stability are often overlooked in lower body training. If the hips can’t stabilize or control movement well, the knees and low back end up taking on more than they should

1️⃣ Single Leg Hamstring Curls w/ slider:
Slow on the way out, quick on the way in.. builds eccentric control and hamstring strength

➡️ Single Leg Hamstring Ecc Extension (w/ contralateral KB):
Core stays engaged as you extend, control through end range

2️⃣ Miniband ISO Long Lever Hold + Abductions:
Lights up glutes while challenging pelvic stability

➡️ Miniband Elevated Clamshell Lifts + ISO Hold:
Targets glute med in a shortened position … control the lift, own the hold

➡️ Miniband Kneeling Fire Hydrants:
Stay square through the hips… drive movement from glute + hip, not the low back

3️⃣ MB Single Leg Sit to Stand:
 SL strengthening/imbalance work. Then do sets with MB on contralateral side… cross-body load challenges balance and core control

4️⃣ KB Split Stance RDL w/ Rotation: 
Hinge pattern + controlled rotation, minimal weight in back foot…hello IR in the hips

5️⃣ MB OH Cycle Jump to Stick: 
Produce force, then learn to absorb it

6️⃣ Miniband Standing Fire Hydrants + ISO Hold
Stability on the stance leg, movement on the working leg… keep neutral pelvis

➡️ Miniband ISO Squat w/ Abductions + Single Knee: Constant tension through the squat, glutes stay active while the knees move

8️⃣ TRX Hamstring Curl to Glute Bridge
Full chain engagement from calves to core … this one will humble you 😉

Prep sets the tone for everything that follows
Skip this part, and something else will pay for it later

Make it intentional
Make it challenging
Make it fun

Congratulations to this crew (from all around the world!!) for completing their TRX Yoga Flow Course today

It’s such an honor to lead these trainings and share something that has been such a big part of my own journey


TRX Yoga (and honestly all things TRX if you know me 😅) holds such a special place in my heart. I can still feel the nerves…and the sweat…from teaching my very first class 10 years ago after learning from the incredible , who has so eloquently crafted this practice

Fast forward to now ➡️ facilitating teacher trainings

WHAT. A. LIFE.🙉

Movement is a privilege, and the suspension trainer is such an incredible tool for all levels to build balance, stability, strength, explore new positions, move with more confidence… you name it

Consider this your gentle nudge to keep going after all the things that light you up and open you up 🤸🏻‍♀️

I promise it’s worth it ✨🫶🏻

Today is one of those days that always holds a little extra magic in it. It’s Christmas, but it’s also my grandma’s 91st birthday (my grandpa turned 93 in August) And they’re a huge reason why health means so much to me ♥️

Not in the performative way
Not in the aesthetic way
But in the quiet, everyday way

I’ve been lucky enough to witness what happens when someone takes care of themselves spiritually, physically, and mentally over an entire lifetime. I’ve seen how movement keeps you independent, how purpose keeps you curious, how faith and connection keep you grounded, and how tending to your inner world matters just as much as tending to your body

They’ve taught me that longevity isn’t just about adding years to your life, it’s about adding life to your years. About being present, capable, connected. About still laughing, still walking, still showing up for the people you love

It’s a reminder that how we live matters, not just for us, but for all the lives we touch along the way 🫶🏻

Happy Holiday season to all, keep shining your light for those who you don’t even realize need it 💫
