At Constant Performance Yoga, we have created different levels suitable for people at different stages in their practice. Whether you are a professional athlete or a person just interested in doing something good for yourself, Constant Performance Yoga is a community where people are challenged and inspired to move forward in their lives each and every time they step on to their mats. These classes will have you breathing, moving, and sweating no matter what age, strength or flexibility level you are at. To start out, we recommend beginners to take 5 to 10 Level 1 (L1) Classes. However, classes are open to all individuals. Level 1 classes are 60 minutes and non-heated (room temperature). L1 gives students of all levels, the opportunity to return to the fundamentals of yoga in a fun, non-competitive environment. These classes introduce breathing techniques, emphasize proper alignment, and are designed to give you a firm foundation of vinyasa yoga. It is perfect for students who have either never practiced yoga before, returning to yoga after a break, or regular practitioners looking to focus on the fundamentals. Level 2 classes are 60 minutes in a heated room (90 degrees). L2 offers more variation and challenges in the sequence. It is recommended that beginners start at Level 1 and work up to Level 2. These classes are energizing and challenging workouts, so be prepared to sweat! Level 3 classes are 60 or 75 minutes in a heated room (90 degrees). The focus of this class is to push you to your edge and try out new poses. This is the most challenging class we offer. It is recommended to be comfortable with L2, before taking L3. Power Flow classes are 60 minutes in a heated room (95 degrees). This class has the same sequence every time. It is equivalent to a level 2 class. Recovery classes are 60 minutes non-heated. This class is designed using blocks and straps, to help students stretch, heal, and recover after a tough workout or a long week. Please see our website for a full class schedule.
