…and instead of me being in the kitchen alone, a sweet friend stepped in after Bible Study, came alongside me and SAVED the DAY 🙌💛

☕ Freedom Café (shop location) will be closing early at 3PM on Friday, April 17th
🚪 We will also be CLOSED on Saturday, April 18th

💖Happy Sunday, Freedom Fam! 💖

I wanted to hop on today and thank you all again for being so patient with us this week, as our family has had an incredibly beautiful and, also, exhausting week.

We are soaking up every moment we can with sweet Adelaide and her parents. They say there is no love like when you become a parent. They also say that there is no comparison to when you become a grandparent.

You love your children but gracious - when your children begin having children?! It’s a completely different season of life and, just like becoming a parent, it awakens things inside your heart that you never knew even existed.

👉🏻 As far as ministry in the shop this week:

✝️Tyson will be at the shop at 7:30 am for men’s Monday morning fellowship.

✝️ I will be at the shop for women’s ministry at 8:30am and 5:30pm.

✝️ Next Gen meets Mon-Thursday afterschool

🍇We’re going to be making fresh goods for the shop, and tomorrow.

🐴The men folk have a retreat this week beginning Thursday so us girls will be holding down the fort as the tale a few days to soak in fellowship and ministry! With that being said, The Brew Box be at the CCYPS Ranch Rodeo Friday/Saturday. I will keep that reminder forefront this week.

We want to, again, thank everyone for the patience you’ve extended us. We have had a few new faces at the shop and their presence has been priceless! Volunteers truly help us keep our sanity while we work to serve you well.

That’s a lot but that should cover almost everything for this week. I will try to hop on and do some lives this week to keep us up to date.

Now that our daughter in love has posted toes…💖

We’ld like to welcome our sweet grand-daughter to the world. Jefe & ‘Buela (🤭) are so very proud of and for our son and daughter-in-law.

Thank you for being patient with our family as we have been learning and doing our best to balance all the things. God is sending us helping hands in many directions and we are so grateful!

What a great day!! We had the funnest group of ladies playing Mahjong today!!

After they left, the kids moseyed on over. We chatted about the Holy Spirit, shared joy reports from this week, prayed over our requests (sometimes we stand on chairs with supervision, of course) and then they enjoyed pizza sponsored by .roadhouse! THANK YOU SNAPPY’s!!

We are so grateful for all of you who continue to support the mission of FII. We sure love you a latte!

Who wants to praise HIS name today?!?! We love Jarvis but we’ve never been so grateful to see him!!

This means, while we have enjoyed our hike through the jungles of Peru, espresso gets back to our Guatemalan goodness AND cold brew is already brewing so and will be restocked some time tomorrow!

We have another shipment in Tennessee that we are praying home - thank you all for your continued love and support!

We cannot do what we do without all of you!!

Happy Resurrection Sunday from our family to yours!! We hope and pray your weekend was filled with abundant blessings!

Tomorrow, we’ll star prepping fresh food for the week but, as always, fresh gluten free WAC-Y Waffle Dippers and other quick snacks are available!

One caveat - we are on serious baby watch this week!! Please be praying for Haleigh and baby to have a safe delivery and watch the page for any emergency updates.

Just a reminder that we are closing early today at 2pm and will be closed tomorrow to celebrate Easter Weekend!

Grand baby (still on baby watch, y'all!!) and weather permitting, we will be in Galveston Saturday, early evening, facilitating baptisms for a few beautiful families. If you don't have a church home, have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and feel led to follow in baptism or even if you have questions about it, please reach out to us.

📣 CAN YOU HELP? 📣

Good morning, Freedom Fam! If our ministry through Freedom Initiative International or Freedom Café Ministries has positively impacted you or your family personally, would you please be willing to send us over a short testimony?

For example, earlier this week, one of our students was asking questions about Guatemala and how we are in Anahuac right now. After I shared how everything transpired, she shared that she was grateful that we were obedient, staying to open the coffee shop, because she came after school one day and listened from the other room. She said her life was saved that day because she was losing faith and everything she heard us teach gave her hope - encouraged her faith - and now she is a regular after school.

It doesn’t have to be to that extent because it’s simply however your life has been touched - and, please, only truthful testimonies.

We are building a little case document to be able to present for grants, churches, organizations and such and we need your help.

While customs has our coffee held up, we’re choosing to trust the process and praise the Lord! In the meantime… we’ll just be out exploring the jungles of Peru 🇵🇪🌿 (not a bad place to wait, right? 😉).

We’re grateful to have found a bean close to the profile and heart that you’ve come accustomed to. Here what we love about them:
