New 8-Week Yoga Session Begins This Week!

Theme: Steady & Open: Finding Ease in Strength

Together, we’ll move through a journey of grounding, breath, core awareness, hip release, balance, and deep integration. Each week will weave together movement, breathwork, mudra, yin, and gentle yoga philosophy inspired by the teachings of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

This is a practice of balance—not perfection.
Of listening—not forcing.
Of learning to move through life with more support and less strain.

Why Yin Yoga?

Yin yoga works differently than most styles of yoga.

Instead of strengthening muscles, we relax the muscles and hold poses longer so the stretch reaches the connective tissues, joints, and fascia.

Benefits may include:

- Increased flexibility
- Reduced stress
- Improved joint mobility
- Deep relaxation

After the Emerald Run this weekend, my outer hips were definitely reminding me that I jogged part of the 5K! 🍀🏃‍♀️

So I put together this quick 8- minute Runner Hip Reset—a few simple moves that help release the hips and legs after a run or long walk.

It was so fun leading the pre-race stretching for everyone before the run, and this little routine is a great way to take care of your body afterward. If you ran, walked, or are just feeling tight hips, give it a try!
