KNOW Before you Go!

Should you get a vaccine shot if you have the CV19 Antibodies already? The vaccine shot is made to encourage your body to make CV19 Antibodies. So, if you already have the antibodies, the decision is up to you, but you are resistant to the current strain.

You can do a simple blood test at home or at work prior to taking a vaccine shot to know. If you are positive for CV19 Antibodies, you are already resistant. You might consider waiting for the ensuing year for the new covid shot for the next strain. You can test every month to make sure you still have antibodies.

If you do not have the CV19 antibodies, you can take the antibody test 5 to 10 days after getting the second shot to confirm your body has built-up antibodies. You can test monthly to see how long the antibodies last. Everyone is different. Right now, we are seeing antibodies last 6 to 12 months.
