✨Senior Spotlight✨
We are beyond excited to give our senior spotlight this year to the one and only Maria Collins! Maria joined Tri Sigma in Fall of 2021 and is graduating this year with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She plans to take her N-Clex at the start of 2025 and she has already accepted an offer to start a two year nursing residency at Providence Alaska Medical Center’s Progressive Care Unit, a critical care unit here in Anchorage. Maria is originally from Washington but came up to Alaska after applying to our Nursing program at UAA. She has held different positions in Sigma with her most recent ones being our 2023 President and 2024 VPHR. Maria has been a valuable member of our sorority and though we are sad to see her go, we know she will do amazing things in this world and we are proud to be able to call her our sister.

Hi! My name is Anika and I am a freshman working towards my nursing degree. I am from Alaska and love to do outdoor activities. Three fun facts about me:
1) I have done the Gold Nugget Triathlon every year since I was 9
2) I enjoy art and to paint, especially water color and chalk pastel
3) I love to read in my free time
